The Manos Honduras Ministry has been awarded two grants from the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee
We are very pleased to share the news that the Honduras Manos Ministry received two grants from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC).
The first grant of $6000 will go towards six scholarships for one academic year: two students in college and four students in 7-12th grades.
The second grant of $5000 was requested by the Honduras Manos Ministry in conjunction with the Department of Engineering at UTSA to sponsor our second-year research and STEM learning project called Brillantes (Brilliant Ones!). This program is designed to provide early science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) career awareness and related mathematics skill development and opportunities for middle school students in Danli, Honduras.
