Cecia Zelaya is 28 years old and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the Catholic University of Honduras in 2021. She has been involved with the scholarship program in various capacities—ranging from being a scholarship applicant in 2009 to serving as the program's coordinator since 2025. Throughout this time, she has collaborated with various church ministries, including the music ministry, youth ministry, the parish council, the "Manos" creative group, and youth camp coordination. She has also participated in numerous scholarship program activities, such as shoe and eyewear clinics, the "Manos a la Obra" (Hands at Work) initiative, the cyber café, the "Brillantes" (Bright Minds) program, the exchange club, the adventure club, and more. From the moment she joined the program as a scholarship recipient, she knew she had received one of God's greatest blessings and that her future—and that of her family—would be transformed. Today, she feels deeply committed to God and to the "Manos de Dios" Scholarship Program, grateful for the support she once received to become the professional she is now. She hopes that through her collaboration and experience, she can repay that support with love and confidence, helping current scholarship recipients who dream of becoming upstanding professionals and contributing to the country as young people filled with wisdom, intelligence, and clear goals for the future.

Edil Reyes joined the Manos de Dios scholarship program during his secondary education in 2006, remaining with the program until he graduated with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering in 2018. As a student, he also became a member of the church’s music ministry, actively participating alongside the Manos team in concerts, worship gatherings, and instrumental music classes, among other music-related activities. He remains actively involved with the program today: whenever the Manos Texas team visits Honduras, he collaborates on the various vision clinics they conduct, both within the church and in the wider community. He has served on the support team in Honduras for several initiatives—such as "Club Intercambio," "Brillantes," "Cyber ​​Café," and the "Camping To Go" team (organized for scholarship program students)—and also spent several years serving on the scholarship committee in Honduras.

Stephany Melissa Flores holds a degree in Nursing, having graduated in 2022. She was part of the Scholarship Program starting in 2009—a pivotal opportunity that propelled her academic and professional development. Professionally, she specializes in direct patient care, administrative management, and health education, distinguishing herself through her commitment and dedication to her calling. She is a member of the "Manos de Dios" Episcopal Church, where she supports church leadership. Additionally, she actively collaborates with the Scholarship Program’s Honduran team on ophthalmological and medical outreach missions. Passionate about reading, she finds a constant source of inspiration in books. She is guided by the firm conviction that small opportunities are the beginning of great things.

Julio Ernesto Lara Vallecillo is 25 years old. He graduated from university with a degree in Industrial Engineering in 2024. He has been part of the Manos de Dios Scholarship Program since 2014—an opportunity that marked a turning point in his academic and personal development. Thanks to this program, he was able to complete his secondary education and continue on to earn his university degree. He is also an active member of the Episcopal Church, where he has served in various capacities since joining the program—particularly in the music ministry, which is one of his greatest passions. Professionally, he is interested in operations, logistics, process improvement, and industrial management, in addition to supporting the scholarship program as part of the Honduran team. Outside of his professional life, music plays a vital role. Playing the guitar and participating in the worship ministry have allowed him to develop discipline, creativity, and teamwork skills—values ​​he applies to both his personal and professional life. He firmly believes that every opportunity is a chance to keep growing and to serve others with dedication and love.

Delsy Yolany Hernández is an education professional with an extensive career dedicated to the academic development of young people and professionals in Honduras. Her commitment to education and societal development has led her to serve in various areas of the educational system, combining her teaching vocation with solid experience in educational management and administration. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the Central American Technological University (UNITEC)—training that has strengthened her administrative management and leadership skills, particularly in contexts requiring her to work with and coordinate a large team of colleagues at her educational institution. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical University (UPNFM) in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and is a qualified primary school teacher, having graduated from the Escuela Normal España in the city of Danlí, El Paraíso. Throughout her professional career, she has demonstrated a commitment to education and the development of the El Paraíso department. She has spearheaded various projects aimed at enhancing student opportunities, including the implementation of 4S-4H Clubs in partnership with Zamorano Pan-American Agricultural University, as well as significant educational infrastructure projects—notably the creation and improvement of home economics workshops, computer labs, and sports courts. She also spearheaded the UNATEC–Tecnológico de Danlí University Project, an initiative designed to expand academic training opportunities for the region's youth. In her daily work, she utilizes the classroom environment to implement innovative strategies that foster learning, participation, and the holistic development of her students. Her social and educational commitment is reflected in her long-standing involvement—spanning over a decade—with the Manos de Dios Program, as well as her support for the Club Aventura (Reading Club) and her role as a liaison for the Técnico Pedro Nufio school. This institution has benefited from more than 200 student scholarships; she currently serves on the Honduras scholarship committee, providing educational guidance and addressing issues related to student behavior and teacher-student dynamics, among other matters. She possesses over 30 years of experience teaching Spanish to secondary school students, as well as experience in university-level teaching, enabling her to contribute to the development of several generations of students. In the field of educational administration, she has served as principal of two leading institutions in the country's eastern region and as deputy principal of Técnico Pedro Nufio in Danlí, El Paraíso—the institution where she currently works.
