Meet Sofía!
About Me
Q. Name and Vocation?
A. “My name is Sofía Muñoz and I have a BA in Anthropology from Trinity University and an MA in International Heritage Management from the University of Birmingham. I am passionate about helping people and telling stories across cultures!”
Q. What has your involvement with Manos been like?
A. I found out about Manos from my great friend Dani while on the Camino de Santiago! After having adventured in Spain together, I decided to apply for the Young Adult Travel Award and was able to go on the Manos mission trip to Honduras.
Q. Favorite Quote?
A. “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
African Proverb
Q. Fun Facts?
A. I’ve watched every episode of New Girl at least five times.
Manos would like to give Sofía a very warm welcome to the team and introduce her to all of our friends! She will be doing intern work with Manos and will be working closely with Pati and Dani on learning the ropes of what makes this ministry work. With her help, we will continue to do life-changing work and build bridges in the communities we’re involved in Honduras and Texas. Sofía will also help Manos as it takes its steps into the future. We cannot wait to begin our adventures together!
We love you Sofía!
