A Sneak Peak At What Is To Come

With Manos, there is always something to look forward to and we are delighted and full of excitement to share that something special is in the works! Just as we did a few years ago with Alejandro & Camp Capers, it is our pleasure to share that we are flipping the script yet again and bringing Hondurans to Texas in order to make an impact!

Joining us in the Summer of 2026 are three special Honduran professionals and students who are part of the Brillantes/STEM program. These fellows are:

• 1 Senior Industrial Engineering  (Erlin)

• 1 Professional Industrial Engineer (Julio)

• 1 High School Mathematics Teacher (Profesora Candy)

These individuals have been involved with the Brillantes/STEM program for the past 5 years and are qualified to teach and represent our banner as well as that of the STEM field. During their stay in Texas, they will be attending workshops in San Marcos, Texas that provide opportunities to participate with master teachers facilitating inquiry based lessons with learners from the area. Helping us with our efforts is Alberto, one of our Manos Travel Award Grant recipients from this past January.

We cannot wait for this summer and invite you to join us in prayer and gratitude as all the pieces and people fall into place to make this amazing partnership and opportunity happen. Thank you!
