About Me

Q. Name and Vocation?

A. My name is Cecia Zelaya and I have a degree in psychology from the Universidad Católica de Honduras - Campus Santiago Apóstol (The Catholic University of Honduras - Saint James The Apostle Campus)

Q. What has your involvement with Manos been like?

A. I was part of the Manos De Dios scholarship program from 2010 - 2021. From 2021-2024, I was the assistant to the coordinator for the Manos Scholarship Program. Currently, I am the Coordinator and Administrator for the Manos Scholarship Program since 2025.

Q. Favorite Quote?

A. Proverbs 3:27 “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.”

Q. Fun Facts? 

A. I love cooking and also dancing.

Cecia has been an invaluable member of Manos leadership in Honduras. From student guidance, extracurricular program coordination, accounting and being a liaison with our partners in Honduras , Cecia has done it all for the Manos ministry. We are proud of her and hold her in high esteem! ¡Gracias Cecia!
